I am bleaching knots today and I wanted to show you. So I have this piece here. This was the piece that was gifted to me from Wigshe. I have added some color to it. I don't know if I love it yet. That's why it's wet. We'll see when it dries, but I do need to bleach the knots. The rest of the cap was fine but kind of like in this hairline. It just needs some extra bleaching.
- I'm gonna go super light bleach with it, so turn my cap inside out. I have my bleach ready. Let me show you what I'm using normally I use manic panics, white lightning, but I happen to be out of it and I had a little bit of this left. This is Arctic fox bleach. Please, what I do like about this one is that the bleach component is in a paste already. So it makes it kind of easy to figure out how thick you want it. So here is my mixed up.
- Concoction you can see it's thick. You want it to be thick when you're bleaching your knots because you don't want it to run through the cap or through the lace to the hair. You just want it on the back side. I'm just using a regular hair color brush and we'll get started so like I said I have it inside out. I have the other hair kind of pulled away. See if I can see this better and then all I'm gona do is start laying that bleach on. It is nothing to be afraid of. You're not pressing down. You're literally just laying that bleach on the backside of that cap, where those knots are that you want to get rid of or kind of conceal a bit. I'm just gonna hold this here like that and hold that up.
- These only need a very, very light bleach because they are already lightly bleached and I know I probably should not be bleaching them again, but I do not like seeing knots, so I'm gona go ahead and risk it and you can see I am not going through to the other side. It is literally just staying on the back side of this pack. I will probably not leave this on very long because like I said, they are lightly bleached already and it's not necessary to go that deep into it. That for that long and guys, that's it. That's the only part of this piece that I wanted to get bleached, so I'm gonna leave it for a few minutes. I'm gonna look at it at five. Maybe I'll let it go till ten, but I think that's probably going to be about it.
- And let me show you the other side again. It has not gone through. You can see it is literally just on the knots on the other side, and actually what's good about this piece, because it is a lighter density. I can see those knots really clearly and how they're doing during the processing time, so I will show you a picture actor, let you know how it goes.
