How to conceal the knots on your human hair wig?

Many people choose to bleach the wig knots to make the parting and hairline more natural. However, if you are bleaching the knots for the first time, during the complicated process, you may mess up the wig hair and untie the knots from the lace.

Why not turn to some quicker and easier alternatives?

Before introducing some alternatives, I want you to know what are wig knots first.

Wig knots refers to tying hair strands into the lace hole of a wig, which look like small black dots, thus taking a toll on the realism of the appearance. The reason why hair knots are clearly visible is because their color is darker than the natural skin tone of the scalp. Therefore, if your wig was not pre-bleached, it's necessary to hide the wig knots.

Here are some available tools that can make your human hair wig looks seamless without bleaching it.

  • First is to use chalk pin. Take the chalk pin and link it down below. You can also do it around the hairline if you want and if you are going to wear it off your face. But it makes a huge difference and then you don’t have to cover up your hair or wear anything underneath to get that pretty.
  • Second is to use liquid foundation. Choose a liquid foundation that perfectly matches your skin tone. Apply liquid foundation on the back of your hand, use a brush to dip liquid foundation. Then apply it under the lace, push liquid foundation into the lace to make liquid foundation cover the hair knots. You can blend the colors if you need a certain color and if you feel like one of these does not match. This is temporary so of course it washes out with water so you can go in with a little bit of this darker color.
  • Third is to use lace grid filler. This concealer it like a waxy so it doesn’t come off on the skin very easily. In order for us to apply it onto the lace, we actually have to heat it up by blow dryer. And then apply a bit more onto the lace and pack it in to make sure that is really fills in the grid. You don’t need to apply it all over the lace, just in the area that you need it the most. Finally, how far you want to take your part is up to you.
