How to do heat styling on your human hair wig?

Doing heat styling on a wig is quite time-consuming, so when you are styling your wigs for yourself, you can either choose to style them on you own head or on a wig head. It is really just up to your personal preference and what you find easier.

  • First, use a wide tooth comb to comb out your wig hair to remove all the tangles. You’d better use a wig brush, which is specifically designed to remove tangles from the wig. Thread the wig brush through the wig, starting from the bottom of the hair and moving upwards along the length of the hair.
  • Second, part the hair into several different sections. If you want to minimize frizz, please make sure that you did single before you curl each section. Use a couple clips to clip one section.
  • Third, open the curling iron and set it to a temperature you normally use. When waiting for the curling iron to heat up, use a flat iron protectant spray that helps shield hair from heat damage. Just spray a bit down on your hair and take the wide tooth comb to comb out the hair again.
  • Fourth, turn on the fan and slide through it to try and help get some of that kinkiness out and then just twist it along. When all the hair in the fan, hold it for 20 to 30 seconds. You are either going to allow the curls to cold down in your hand or you are going to use clips before you move on to the next sections. Repeat the same steps on other sections.

We want you to know that you should keep in mind that the curls should go away from your face. Therefore, if you are on the right, you should curl towards the left; if you are on the left, you should curl towards the right.

Follow the detailed steps above, the end results will surprise you.
