Wigs do not look perfect out of the box. You have to style and prepare them, so I'm going to show you how I do mine. This is a lace front human hair wig, so I am trimming the lace front and leaving about a centimeter of space.
- Then I'm going to wash it. I'm going in with my John Renau shampoo and conditioner for wigs. This is just getting out some excess dye and it's going to help the hair look shiny and fresh. Next, I put it back on the wig stand and I'm just going to comb it out, get out all the knots and put in some heat protectant spray.
- Then you can blow dry it at this point or you can just leave it to dry overnight, which is what I did. Then I'm just going to go in and curl it, but note that most synthetic wigs, you can't use heat on them, so just check your product before you do that. And this is the final look.
This styling will probably last for about two weeks.
